Assistant Accountant - Temp - Production

Do you have strong experience in AP and AR looking to start a Temp role with an immediate start (short notice)?

Have you worked in a hands on role in a fast paced environment, ideally media SME?

A fab Media Company with various revenue streams in production and post-production are urgently recruiting an Assistant Accountant to help them work through a backlog in transactional finance. This is predominantly an AP and AR based role, you need to be able to handle a high volume of work, be able to investigate and look at historical data to resolve queries.

• Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and reconciling accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivables, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments, follow-up on overdue accounts, and processing of incoming payments.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Assist with VAT preparation and returns.
• Perform daily scheduled bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
