Assistant Finance Business Partner (6-Month FTC) – Grantham
Location: Hybrid working – up to 3 days per week remote
Salary: Up to £37,000 + pension + flexible working

A growing company based in Grantham is looking for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on a 6-Month FTC. This role offers a great opportunity to take ownership of the month-end process and work closely with budget holders across the business.

The ideal candidate will be confident, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders. A solid understanding of debits, credits, and core accounting principles is essential.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Post journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts
• Liaise with budget holders to support forecasting and cost tracking
• Assist the Senior Management Accountant with financial reporting and analysis

What you'll need:

• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger processes
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach
• Experience of liaising with budget holders
• Experience working with finance systems and Strong Excel skills
• Fully AAT qualified or Part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) preferred
