The Role

As Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Mathematics, you will:

• Lead the strategic development of the Mathematics curriculum across all key stages.
• Drive excellence in teaching and learning, ensuring high standards of progress and attainment.
• Support and develop a team of dedicated mathematics teachers through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Use data effectively to inform planning, intervention, and curriculum design.
• Contribute to whole-school leadership and improvement planning.

We are looking for an individual who:

• Is an exceptional teacher of Mathematics with a proven track record of success.
• Has experience in curriculum leadership or middle/senior leadership roles.
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of pedagogy, assessment, and curriculum innovation.
• Is committed to inclusive education and raising achievement for all learners.
• Has the leadership skills to inspire, challenge, and support both staff and students.
