Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant (Temp to Perm)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join a dynamic team in Warwick. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to expand their accounting career with the potential for permanent employment after the temporary period. The role will provide support to the Finance team, offering valuable experience in management accounting and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Support in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary.

Help with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insight into financial trends.

Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure proper reporting of financial data.

Assist with cost analysis and contribute to improving financial performance.

Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Support year-end financial reporting and assist in audits as required.

Assist with ad-hoc finance and accounting projects as needed.

Provide support to the wider finance team with day-to-day financial operations.

Key Skills and Experience:

AAT Qualified or actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent).

Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role.

Strong understanding of management accounting principles.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Proficient in using accounting software (experience with systems using TRAMPS and Excel is advantageous).
