Assistant Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant | Interim 3 – 6 months |£150 - £180 per day (Umbrella) | Shropshire

Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a reputable organisation in order to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to their busy team, to support with various projects as well as contributing to a continuous improvement of systems and processes to reduce any back logs and in-efficiencies. The position offered hybrid working (4 days a week in office, 1 day working from home)

Duties will include:

• Conducting regular review meeting with budget holders and providing advice
• Monthly analysis and budget monitoring (revenues and capital)
• Completing complex reconciliation of budgets and reserves
• Continuously working towards improving processes and system procedures

The successful candidate:

• Experience working within public sector is highly desirable (Charity, Local Government, NHS, Education, Not-for-profit)
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills is essential
• Part-qualified or equivalent ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA, ICMA, ICA
