Talent Finance are working with a well-established organisation based in Andover, who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their Group Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is mostly remote, but they’d love to see you in the office now and then for team catch-ups and collaboration.

This role is perfect for someone who’s hands-on, keen to learn, and ready to get stuck into a wide variety of tasks; from helping prepare monthly accounts to analysing data and supporting the wider team with reporting and planning.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting with monthly management accounts and year-end reporting
• Helping put together budgets and forecasts
• Producing clear, accurate financial reports
• Analysing variances and spotting what needs fixing
• Getting involved in ad-hoc tasks and process improvements

What we’re looking for:

• Someone with strong Excel skills and a good eye for detail
• Ideally studying towards a finance qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
• A great communicator who can work independently and as part of a team
• Someone who takes pride in getting things right and is curious enough to ask questions
