Assistant Systems Accountant | Fixed Term – 12 months |£33,000 - £35,000 | Merseyside

Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a reputable organisation in order to appoint an Assistant Systems Accountant to their busy team, to cover a secondment as well as contributing to a continuous improvement of the finance system. The position offered hybrid working (3 – 4 days in office)

Duties will include:

• Main point of contact for colleagues, answering ad-hoc queries about the finance system
• Contributing to the continued development of systems and processes
• Ensuring the systems is processing both financial and non-financial data accurately to make informed business decisions
• Ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and documented accurately
• Working and liaising with wider teams including

The successful candidate:

• Experience working within public sector is highly desirable (Charity, Local Government, NHS, Education, Not-for-profit)
• Previous experience working within systems, not just implementation
• Part-qualified, AAT or equivalent ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA, ICMA, ICA
