Assistant Team Manager

Elevate your social work career and support young people transitioning to independence! Randstad is seeking an experienced Assistant Team Manager for Swindon's Leaving Care / Positive Futures Team.

In this key role, you will support the Team Manager in leading and supervising a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality services for care leavers. You'll drive best practice, manage complex cases, and contribute to service development.

You'll offer:

• Social Work qualification & Social Work England registration.
• Significant experience working with care leavers and knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., Children Act 1989, Leaving Care Act 2000).
• Proven experience in supervising staff or mentoring social workers.
• Strong leadership, assessment, and decision-making skills.
