The role is offered initially as a 3-6 month freelance agreement, but is likely to convert to a permanent role in the near future. 

As an Associate Director, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting client accounts and agency growth. Working closely with senior management, you’ll:

• Serve as the day-to-day lead on a diverse portfolio of high-profile technology clients, managing integrated PR programmes and campaign activity.


• Build and deepen client relationships, providing trusted strategic counsel and forward-thinking communications plans grounded in audience insight and data.


• Lead UK activations spanning media relations, executive profiling, social media, content, and events, while coordinating seamless delivery in international markets.


• Drive new business and organic growth, supporting pitches, networking, and cross-practice opportunities.


• Oversee client budgets and project delivery, ensuring the highest standards of service and measurable impact.


• Inspire, mentor and motivate junior colleagues, fostering an inclusive, supportive and high-performing team culture.


• Actively contribute to thought leadership, represent FH at industry events, and help shape the future of our technology practice.

About you

• A strategic communicator with a background in technology PR, ideally within an agency environment.


• Skilled at building client trust and delivering standout campaigns that make a real impact.


• Confident leading integrated teams and multi-channel programmes—from concept to delivery.


• Adept at navigating complex, fast-moving sectors, with a passion for translating technical topics for broad audiences.


• A collaborative leader who champions inclusion, feedback and professional development.


• You must have the right to work in the UK and be able to work in our Bankside office at least 3 days p/week. 


• Preference given to candidates available immediately.
