Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for an Attendance Administrator to work on a full time (35 hours per week) basis at a school in Hull. This will be starting ASAP, and lasting until the end of the academic year in the first instance (18th July 2025). Payment for this position will be between £100 and £110 per day depending on experience and qualifications, and working hours will be between 8:00AM and 4:00PM.

This role will involve working with students to ensure that school attendance records are up to date, and providing counsel to students with the ultimate aim of improving their attendance. Working with SEND students, disengaged students or within attendance would be highly advantageous for this position.

• To liaise with parents regarding pupils' sickness/injury.
• To assist with visits from the school nurse, dentist, e.t.c.
• To liaise with the Education Welfare Officer regarding pupils' attendance and absence.
• To undertake home visits alongside either the Home School Liaison Officer or other member of staff in relation to attendance.
• To provide the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher with weekly attendance reports

Located in Hull, this setting is easily accessible from most areas of Hull via public transport, and has a large onsite car park for candidates who do drive. This school has an excellent reputation in the local area, and is part of a small, local, academy trust. Success in this role can open up roles within other local secondary and primary schools within the local area.

• Have experience working within schools in the UK.
• Has experience supporting within UK schools
• Has experience working as an Attendance Administrator/ within schools
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the full CV History
• Legal right to work in the UK
