Attendance and Welfare Officers - Secondary Schools - Haringey

?? £95-£110 per day (depending on experience)

Are you highly organised, a strong communicator, and passionate about improving student outcomes? Secondary schools across Haringey are looking for Attendance and Welfare Officers to help tackle persistent absence and ensure students are supported to attend and succeed.

In this role, you'll be a vital link between school and home-following up on absences, encouraging student engagement, and supporting safeguarding processes. If you're someone who enjoys working with families, is confident in using data, and thrives in a structured environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and managing daily attendance data
• Contacting families to follow up on absences and lateness
• Supporting students with reintegration plans
• Coordinating with pastoral and safeguarding staff
• Preparing accurate reports and records

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in school administration or attendance support
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills
• An organised and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Familiarity with SIMS/Arbor or willingness to learn
