Attendance Officer

Are you passionate about supporting students' academic journey and ensuring excellent attendance? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Attendance Officer for a secondary school in Haringey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and maintaining accurate student attendance records

• Managing and tracking student absences, ensuring follow-ups as necessary

• Collaborating with school staff, parents, and students to improve attendance rates

• Using SIMS (School Information Management System) to update and report attendance data

• Managing attendance-related queries and providing support to staff and students

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in secondary education, ideally in a similar attendance officer role

• Proficient knowledge of SIMS and its functionalities

• Full enhanced DBS check required

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Information:

• Position: Full-time, temporary role (exact length of booking to be confirmed)

• Start Date: End of May or June (subject to confirmation)

• Location: Secondary School in Haringey
