Audit and Review Officer

We are working with a Swindon Borough Council who are looking for an Audit and Review Officer to join their team.

Location: Swindon Borough Council 

Set-up: Remote

Rate: £45.51/hour via umbrella, inside IR35

Duration: Initial 3-month contract, potential extension

Hours: Full-time position

Responsibilities include:

• Establish where we are with EHC needs assessments, quality of EHC Plans and annual reviews within the first month
• Identify gaps in practice for individual child/young person and make recommendations for improvement
• To report to the SEND Improvement lead weekly
• Be prepared to present to panels as required (e.g. High Cost Panel or Preparing for Adulthood Panel)
• Able to take on complex casework if required to resolve child/young person’s plan for going forward
• Experience using the Synergy system and if not experienced in this be trained in Swindon to use this

Requirements:

• Local Government experience required for initial shortlisting, then thereafter at the client’s discretion
