Role: Temporary/Fixed-Term Auditor

Location: Belfast

Clearance Level: Standard

Pay Band: £22.29 per hour.

Contract Duration: 2-6 months (Start: April-June 2025)

Hours: 37 hours per week (Flexi-time core hours: 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm)

Chartered Accountants Ireland

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland;

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales;

The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants;

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants;

The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy;

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland.

At least 1 year of recent experience in external audit of financial statements

Access to transport for client site visits

Right to Work in the UK

• Deliver audits to NIAO's quality standards
• Prepare and support audit methodology
• Assist and conduct fieldwork to ensure timely delivery
• Summarise and analyse audit evidence
• Draft documentation and clearly report findings
• Make sound conclusions and constructive recommendations
• Maintain and develop client relationships
• Manage time and workflow based on audit plans
