Auto-Electrician

Adecco are currently looking for an Temporary Auto-Electrician to work for our client in Bolton.

You will be responsible for fitting out vehicles and installing a wide range of aftermarket electrical components.

Duties:

• Install electrical systems and components such as inverters, roof lights, solar panels, beacons, water tanks, and night heaters.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in both new and older vehicles.
• Create and install wiring looms and split charge systems.
• Design and modify electrical setups to meet specific customer requirements.
• Support the joinery team with woodwork installations as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all work meets high-quality standards.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• Completed apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Auto Electrical Systems or a related field.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues in automotive systems.
• Proficient with power tools, diagnostic equipment, and hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams.
• Confident in soldering and performing complex electrical installations.

Additional Details

Job Type: Temporary for approximately 1 month potentially longer

Days: Monday-Friday

Hours: Mon-Thurs, 7am-3:30pm and Fri, 7am-2:15pm

Hourly Rate: £17.95ph
