Work Pattern: Hybrid (2 Days Onsite which are Mon / Weds)

Summary

A new role has opened for 2 AWS Platform Engineers to join a Global consultancy on a contract basis. The contract runs till the end of 2025 with extensions likely. You would be required to work Mondays and Wednesday from their office in London.

This role falls inside IR35.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Platform Engineer to join an enterprise level client on a significant program of work, it is highly likely that the role will extend beyond the initial contract

You will be responsible for automating the process of provisioning & maintenance of AWS accounts and infrastructure. This involves a considerable amount of systems integration with other components within the organization and not just a narrow focus on the cloud.

Required Skills

• AWS Platform Engineering - Expert skills needed
• Terraform / Kubernetes - good knowledge
• Python, strong Python knowledge including REST API, frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Boto3 - Automation of AWS Pipelines

An AWS Solution Architect certification is highly desirable

Desirable skills include - API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, CloudFormation, and SQLAlchemy
