Physiotherapist Specialist - Band 6

Contract Information
Grade: Band 6

Start Date: 24 April 2025

Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:00 - 16:00 | 37.5 hours/week

Shift-based assignment with full rota (57 shifts currently posted)

Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients within the service

Deliver patient-centred care in alignment with NHS standards and Cancer Care Support frameworks

Contribute to discharge planning, rehabilitation pathways, and MDT coordination

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation

Utilise standardised tools and treatment modalities across acute and outpatient settings

Skills & Competencies
HCPC Registration (Physiotherapy)

Demonstrable NHS experience within oncology, elderly/frailty, or rehabilitation settings

Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and record-keeping skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., System One, WebV)
