Baggage Handler

Our client is looking to recruit several Baggage Handlers to join a friendly team within a well-established company. We are seeking motivated & driven candidates who want to learn new skills and gain new experiences to progress within their career.

Duties:

• Loading and unloading aircraft within specified turnaround times
• Sortation of baggage, scanning tags for flights, loading containers and trailers, and delivery/collection of mail and freight from various airside locations
• All duties will include the use of large goods vehicles or specialist ground handling equipment
• An awareness of health and safety and safe working practices
• Ability to undertake continuous Heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
• Ability and willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must be prepared and able to work rotating shift patterns (early
and late shifts) over a 7-day working week, as stated above

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR BUSINESS, WE ARE REGULATED BY THE CAA (CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY), THEREFORE IT IS COMPULSORY FOR ALL APPLICANTS TO PROVIDE OR BE WILLING TO OBTAIN THE FOLLOWING:
• Be willing to apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!)
• Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!)
• Be able to provide a full 5-year address history
• Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID
Card etc)
• Be willing to attend Aviation Security Training Courses
• Be over the age of 18 years old

• Pay: 12.49 per hour - £14.17 per hour depending on length of
service & timings of shifts
• Hours: 30hrs contract (4 on / 4 off, AM & PM shifts available) +
overtime available during busier periods
• Duration: Ongoing, Temp to Perm Opportunities
• Immediate Starts available
