Band 2/3 Rehab Physio Assistant HCA/Technical Instructor

Pertemps Medical Professionals have been asked to find a Band 2/3 Rehab Physio Assistant (HCA/Technical Instructor) based in and around the Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft region

Location:

• Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft

Duties will include:

• Working within the pulmonary rehab team alongside a respiratory physio looking after patients attending clinics and treatment programmes
• Welcome and greet patients making them feel comfortable and calm
• Taking Blood Pressure and Pulse Oximetry readings
• Rehab (Sports Rehab), Pulmonary experience
• Setting up equipment within the unit
• Supporting patients with COPD and ILD manage their breathlessness symptoms
• Helping Patients with exercises and treatment prescribed by the Physio

Working Pattern:

• Mid-Late April start
• The working pattern is currently Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays (7.5 hours each day) with the possible opportunity as the project develops to work)
• Initially a contract until the End of May 2025 with the possibly of a month-by-month extension

This role could be ideal for somebody with a keen interest in rehab or exercise and education, newly qualified candidates struggling to find a position or their first break or candidates who have the right to work in the UK with HCPC registration struggling to find a job within the NHS
