KMPT's Maidstone Community Mental Health Team is seeking a confident and motivated Band 6 CPN to join them on a full-time contract basis.

• Role: Band 6 CPN - Community Mental Health Team

• Location: Maidstone, Kent

• Duration: 3-month contract (with potential extension)

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

• Start: ASAP

• Rate: £27.00 per hour (umbrella)

What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be working as part of a well-established team, supporting adults with a range of complex mental health needs in the community. Key duties include:

• Managing a caseload of service users

• Carrying out initial assessments and contributing to risk management plans

• Developing and reviewing recovery-focused care plans

• Coordinating with MDTs, carers, and external agencies

• Participating in CPA reviews and safeguarding meetings

Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC)

• Previous experience in a Band 6 CPN role, ideally in a community setting

• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills

• Car driver with access to vehicle preferred

Working Hours & Contract:

• Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

• Full-time hours (37.5 per week)

• 3-month contract to start, likely to be extended
