Hunter Mental Health is looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join a Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment Team based in the Herefordshire area.

• Role: Band 6 CPN – Crisis Team

• Location: Herefordshire area

• Contract: 3-month initial contract (with likely extension)

• Schedule: Full-time, long days and/or nights available, 7-day rota

• Start Date: ASAP

• Hourly Rate: £26 per hour (umbrella)

• Carrying out urgent mental health assessments across a range of community settings

• Supporting service users in acute crisis, offering short-term interventions

• Liaising with families, carers and other professionals to manage risk and plan care

• Working within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team to stabilise individuals in the community

• NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse

• Prior experience in crisis, home treatment or acute community settings

• Confidence in working autonomously in high-pressure environments

• Car driver with access to a vehicle preferred

• 37.5 hours per week across a 7-day rota

• Mixture of long day and/or night shifts

• 3-month contract with strong possibility of extension
