Band 6 Occupational Therapist

Specialist Care Centre in Kettering looking to recruit a Band 6 Occupational Therapist (Locum) to join a dedicated and collaborative MDT. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-supported environment with a focus on assessment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning. The role is onsite at Thackley Green Specialist Care Centre, offering a full-time locum contract at £39 per hour (umbrella). The vacancy is available for an immediate start.

Main Duties for the Band 6 Occupational Therapist include:

• Carrying out assessments and delivering rehab programmes for patients at the SCC.

• Facilitating safe and timely discharges back into the community.

• Working as part of a well-established multi-disciplinary team.

• Completing clinical notes and reports accurately and on time.

• Occasionally conducting home visits when required.

To Be Successful:

• Previous experience working as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist.

• Strong rehab and discharge planning experience.

• Ability to work independently and contribute to MDT discussions.

• HCPC Registration.

• Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain this for you).

• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification.
