Role overview:
This is a fast-paced role within the mental health team at HMP Brixton. You’ll deliver frontline mental health care to adult male inmates, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and support individuals in a secure environment.

Key duties:

• Mental health triage and assessments

• Medication administration and monitoring

• Crisis intervention and risk management

• Supporting continuity of care and discharge planning

• Collaborative work with prison staff and external services

Requirements:

• NMC registration (RMN)

• Previous prison, forensic or acute mental health experience preferred

• Ability to work across a 24/7 rota including nights and weekends

• Enhanced prison vetting (or willingness to undergo clearance)
