Band 6 Sexual Health Nurse/Practitioner

We are recruiting experienced Band 6 Sexual Health Nurses/Practitioners to join a friendly dynamic, multi-disciplinary sexual health team as a Sexual Health Nurse, leading nurse-led clinics and delivering expert care across STI, contraception, and HIV services. You’ll work autonomously and provide clinical leadership, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring high-quality, inclusive care. It is a 3-month full-time role. Flexible days/times may be considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage own caseload and run nurse-led clinics
• Provide STI/HIV screening, treatment, and contraceptive services
• Insert/remove implants and IUDs (training provided if needed)
• Work to PGDs and clinical protocols
• Support junior staff and contribute to service development
• Actively participate in audits, safeguarding, and risk management

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with experience in sexual health
• STIF Intermediate and/or FSRH (or willingness to obtain)
• Skilled in patient education and health promotion
• Ability to work independently and as a clinical leader
• Strong commitment to inclusive, evidence-based care
