• Job Title: Pharmacist (Band 6/7) several required!

• Location: Essex - NHS Hospital

• Duration: 3–6 months

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (1-hour lunch)

• Start Date: ASAP, July 2025

• End Date: Ongoing (initial 3–6 months)

• Rate of Pay: £25 – £30 per hour (DOE, paid PAYE)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our client's team as a Band 6/7 Pharmacist supporting an inpatient NHS hospital service. In this role, you will:

• Perform clinical checks and reviews on inpatient prescriptions

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient care

• Manage medicines reconciliation and discharge planning

• Support ward-based clinical pharmacy duties

• Maintain clear and accurate records

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacist

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A proactive and adaptable approach to patient care

• Prior NHS hospital experience is desirable but not essential – community pharmacists encouraged to apply!

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This full-time role requires availability Monday to Friday, with flexibility considered. The initial contract is 3–6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on service needs.
