Band 6/7 Locum Podiatrist – Clinic-Based Role

Location: Beckenham Beacon

Contract Duration: ASAP- 3 months

Working Hours: 2-3 days per week (Monday and Friday required)

Rate: £27.00ph - £29.00ph (Umbrella Equivalent)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Band 6 or Band 7 Podiatrist for a clinic-based role at Beckenham Beacon. This position requires a professional with a strong background in caseload management, discharge planning, and insole manufacturing. NHS experience is essential.

This role is not suitable for recent graduates or those with only a few years of experience.

Banding Criteria:

• Band 6: Suitable for those unable to fulfil the full MSK role but capable of managing routine clinics.
• Band 7: Required to manage all aspects of the role, including MSK, high-risk patients, and wound care.

What We’re Looking For:

• Significant NHS podiatry experience
• Strong MSK assessment skills (Band 7 level)
• Experience with routine high-risk patients and potential wound care
• Ability to manufacture insoles
• Excellent caseload management skills
