Band 7 Neuro Occupational Therapist

Private Hospital Setting | Central London

Cromwell Hospital is looking to recruit an experienced Band 7 Neuro Occupational Therapist to join their established Therapy Team. This is an exciting full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) for a skilled OT to work across a variety of wards, including AICU, managing both inpatient and a small outpatient caseload. There is no weekend or on-call work, and the role may be extended beyond the initial term depending on service needs.

• Managing a diverse neuro caseload, working with adults referred across all hospital wards, including the Acute Intensive Care Unit (AICU).

• Supporting timely and effective UK discharge planning, liaising with the wider MDT.

• Delivering therapy sessions for both inpatients and outpatients, adjusting intervention plans based on clinical need.

• Collaborating closely with physiotherapists, nursing staff, consultants, and discharge coordinators.

• Contributing to service development initiatives alongside senior therapy staff.

• Participating in clinical discussions, documentation, and audits to maintain high standards of care.

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualifying experience.

• Proven experience working with neurological conditions in an acute or hospital setting.

• Strong understanding of UK discharge pathways and planning.

• Confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

• Flexible, proactive, and passionate about delivering patient-centred care.
