Band 7/8a Oncology Pharmacist - NHS Hospital - East London - April start

• Job Title: Oncology Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
• Location: East London - NHS Hospital service
• Duration: 5-6 months
• Schedule: 4 or 5 weekdays per week, 9:00 AM - 5:15 PM (45-minute lunch)
• Start Date: April 2025
• End Date: September/October (subject to extension)
• Rate of Pay: £30 - £38 per hour (via PAYE direct engagement)

Join our team as an Oncology Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients undergoing cancer treatment. In this role, you will:
? Perform oncology screening and clinical pharmacy duties
? Ensure safe and effective use of chemotherapy medications
? Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care
? Offer specialist advice on oncology medications and treatment regimens
? Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

To be successful in this role, you will need:
? Prior NHS or private hospital oncology experience
? GPhC registration as a pharmacist
? Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
? The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
? A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

This role offers a flexible working position, requiring availability Monday to Friday, with some flexibility where possible. The contract is for 5-6 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
