• Job Title: Oncology Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
• Location: NHS Hospital - West Midlands (Outskirts of Birmingham)
• Duration: 4-6 months
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing contract with possible extension
• Rate of Pay: £28 - £37 per hour (DOE & banding)

Join our NHS client's team as an Oncology Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients undergoing oncology treatments. In this role, you will:
? Screen oncology prescriptions to ensure patient safety and compliance
? Provide clinical pharmacy support in oncology and chemotherapy services
? Work within hospital wards, liaising with consultants and nursing staff
? Deliver evidence-based pharmaceutical care to optimize patient outcomes
? Maintain accurate medication records and contribute to MDT meetings

To be successful in this role, you will need:
? GPhC registration as a pharmacist
? Prior experience in oncology pharmacy (hospital setting preferred)
? Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
? The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
? A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

This flexible locum position requires availability from Monday to Friday with potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
