Join a well-established MSK interface service as a Band 8a APP Physiotherapist and take a lead role in assessing and managing complex MSK patients. You’ll be responsible for:

• Independent assessment and management of complex MSK presentations

• Arranging and interpreting appropriate diagnostics (imaging, blood tests)

• Presenting cases at MDT meetings

• Escalating patients to secondary care as needed

• Screening for red flags and applying POLCE principles

• Optional: Performing joint injections (if trained)

You’ll work within a collaborative interface service (e.g., CATS) and contribute to high-quality, patient-centred care.

• HCPC registration

• Experience as an MSK APP clinician, ideally in an interface/CATS setting

• IRMER trained (required)

• Skilled in requesting and interpreting diagnostics

• Awareness of secondary care pathways and referral protocols

• Injection competency desirable but not essential

• Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills

This is a flexible full-time role (Mon–Fri) with an ongoing contract and a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service demand.
