Banking Payments Technical Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Payments Technical Analyst for a long term contract based in London City for our banking client.

Rate of pay: Up to £405 per day inside IR35 via an umbrella company

Hybrid: City of London 3 days a week; 2 days a week remote working

This person will be responsible for all technology aspects regarding non-production environments with respect to payments applications, chiefly the banks central payments services hub and instant payments applications on non-production platforms.

This Payments Technical Analyst MUST have key technical skills in the following areas:

• Oracle database
• IBM MQ interfaces
• IBM Websphere
• IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler for management of applications
• Urban Code for automatic deployment of change
• eG performance monitoring
• JIRA for defect tracking

The Knowledge and Experience required is:

• General understanding of payments (SWIFT, TARGET, SEPA) and/or compliance
• business areas.
• Specific experience of SWIFT ISO20022 message formats
• Experience in working with a complex matrix of business SMEs & IT teams.
