Before and Afterschool Club Manager

• Hourly Rate: £15.84 (Weekly = £396 gross wage)

We are seeking a dedicated Before and Afterschool Club Manager to oversee our breakfast and afterschool clubs at a local primary school in Chorley. This role is crucial in providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children outside of regular school hours. The position starts in September 2025 and offers a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent.

• Manage the daily operations of the breakfast club from 7am to 9am and the afterschool club from 3pm to 6pm.
• Plan, organise, and implement engaging activities that cater to the needs of children aged 4 to 11 years.
• Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
• Manage and train staff members, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with school policies.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and school management to ensure the smooth running of the clubs.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, activities, and any incidents.
• Monitor and manage resources effectively to ensure the clubs are well-equipped.

• Proven experience in managing childcare settings, preferably in a school environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.
• Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are highly desirable.
