Job Title: Behaviour and Inclusion Mentor (Maternity Cover)

A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Wellingborough is seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour and Inclusion Mentor to join their pastoral team on a maternity cover basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning in a supportive and inclusive environment.

• Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring for students with behavioural, emotional, or social needs

• Support the implementation of the school's behaviour and inclusion strategies

• Build positive relationships to encourage student engagement and self-regulation

• Assist with internal behaviour support and reintegration processes

• Work closely with pastoral leads, teaching staff, and external agencies

• Promote a calm, safe and inclusive school environment

• Experience working with young people in an educational or support role

• A strong understanding of behaviour management and inclusive practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
