• Salary: £95 to £112 per day, depending on experience

A vibrant and inclusive school in the heart of Westminster is seeking a dedicated and resilient Specialist Behaviour and SEN Support Assistant to join its committed team.

It supports pupils across a wide range of needs, including those with complex behavioural profiles and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. The Role
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience or a strong interest in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and SEN. You will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.
• Implement personalised strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement.
• Work closely with the SENCO, pastoral team, and class teachers to support learning and wellbeing.
• Help create a calm and structured learning environment, using de-escalation and restorative approaches.
• Support pupils in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and resilience.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with children with SEN and/or behavioural needs (school-based or other settings).
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and safeguarding practices.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of individual pupils.
