We are seeking a dedicated, nurturing and supportive Behaviour Buddy to work at a Special School in Calderdale from September 2025 on full-time Monday - Friday basis. This role would be perfect for someone that has either worked in schools before with children with SEMH or for someone who has worked in a residential setting / Young Offenders setting with children aged between 4-16.

About the role:

• Full-time position Monday to Friday 08.30am-15:30pm
• Support the Class Teacher to deliver lessons
• Pupils are aged between 5-18 years old and you will be required to work across all age groups depending on the needs of the school
• Supporting children in accordance with their EHCP plan.
• In this role, you will be working with some of the most difficult to reach children in society, so we are looking for people that are resillient and patient, that can work with children with a trauma informed approach.
