Behaviour Mentor

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? I am looking for Behaviour Mentors to join an SEMH School, supporting pupils with Behavioural needs.

This school is committed to providing equality and equity for all students, offering a safe, nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and make positive life choices for a successful future.

Responsibilities

• Support children in their learning and development by implementing individualised behaviour management strategies.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment through effective communication and mentoring.
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to address the unique needs of each child.
• Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs, including speech therapy and early childhood education activities.
• Monitored and documented student progress, providing feedback to parents and educators as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

? Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to use initiative.
? A child and adult DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
? Full-time availability and a strong sense of commitment.
? Team Teach training is desirable but not essential.
? Previous experience working with SEMH needs in a school or similar setting.
