Behaviour Specialist

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a Haringey Secondary school which requires a behavioural support assistant to start as soon as possible.

The role will involve:

• Working with students who have behavioural issues
• Providing strategies to help them deal with situations that they find challenging
• De-escalating issues when they arise, working through established strategies and techniques
• Setting clear expectations for behaviour and sanctions if the expectations are not met
• Being a calm, trustworthy and consistent presence

This will be a challenging role and will be best suited to someone with previous experience of working with children or young adults with EBD/challenging behaviour.

This will be a full-time role, 8.15am - 4.00pm and the salary is likely to be £95-£100 per day.
