We are seeking a resilient, compassionate and proactive Behaviour Support Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Basildon this September.

About the Role:
You'll work closely with the SENCO, class teacher and pastoral team to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups-helping them self-regulate, engage in learning and thrive socially and emotionally.

What you'll be doing:
? Supporting children with social, emotional and behavioural needs
? Using de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies
? Creating a calm, safe and structured environment
? Building strong, trusted relationships with pupils
? Helping every child feel seen, heard and valued

What we're looking for:
? Experience supporting children with SEMH, SEND or challenging behaviour (school, youth work or care settings welcome)
? Calm, consistent and confident approach
? Ability to engage positively and set clear boundaries
? Team player with excellent communication skills
? Available full-time from September 2025
