Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Liverpool
Start Date: September
Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

Are you calm under pressure, experienced in educational settings, and skilled at managing complex behaviours? If so, this role is tailored for you.

About Randstad:
At Randstad Education, we specialise in placing dedicated teaching assistants and support professionals into schools where they can make a real difference. Whether you're looking for flexible supply work or a long-term post, our experienced consultants will support your journey from start to finish-always working with your preferences in mind.

Role Overview:
You'll support students across secondary ages with SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) needs-both in the classroom and occasionally through home-based support. The role includes 1:1 sessions to help students with emotional regulation and academic progress, alongside tracking development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent, patient support for young people with SEMH challenges

  • Deliver personalised interventions in class, small groups, or at home

  • Handle behavioural incidents calmly and professionally

  • Keep detailed records of pupil progress and wellbeing

Essential Criteria:

  • Prior experience in a UK school environment

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

  • Minimum 6 months' educational support experience

  • Full legal right to work in the UK

  • Available full-time, Monday-Friday (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
