Behaviour TA Accrington

Are you a resilient and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with behavioural needs? We're recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking school in Accrington that is seeking a Behaviour Specialist TA to join their team from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where your skills and experience will make a real impact on students' lives. The role is full-time and long-term, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

?? The Role:

• Supporting pupils with behavioural challenges, both 1:1 and in small groups
• Implementing behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
• Working closely with the SENCO, pastoral team, and class teachers
• Helping to create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

? What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with children with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs or challenging behaviour
• A calm, confident, and proactive approach
• Strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills
• Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour support (Team Teach, MAPA, etc.) are highly desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
