Job Title: Proposal Writer
Location: Hybrid with potential for fully remote
Rate: £204 per day
Contract: Up to 12 months | Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced and driven Proposal Writer to join a high-performing bid team focused on delivering winning proposals across environmental, waste, energy, and water sectors.

What you'll be doing:

• Writing persuasive, tailored content that clearly communicates the company's value proposition to clients

• Leading the creation of project summaries, executive overviews, methodologies, and case studies

• Working closely with operational teams, subject matter experts, and business development teams to gather input and shape proposal strategies

• Ensuring all written content is clear, concise, and aligned with the client's tender requirements and brand tone

• Maintaining and improving bid library content, supporting continuous improvement in bid quality

• Participating in client feedback sessions and using insights to improve future responses

What we're looking for:

• Strong background in bid/proposal writing within utilities, construction, environmental services, or facilities management

• Proven experience writing high-value bids (typically over £150k)

• Ability to manage multiple proposals and tight deadlines with confidence

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• High attention to detail with strong proofreading and editing ability

• Familiar with G Suite or other proposal automation tools

• Degree-level qualification and ideally APMP certified (or equivalent)
