Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming and high-performing secondary school in the Northwood area who are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a long-term contract until December 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 to 5 in a school that values academic excellence and student wellbeing.

Position Details:

• Role: Biology Teacher

• Key Stages: KS3 to KS5

• Contract: Long-term (September 2025 - December 2025)

• Location: Northwood area, West London

• Hours: Full-time preferred (8:30am-3:30pm); part-time applicants welcome

• Pay: Outer London MPS (depending on experience)

• Facilities: On-site parking available

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Biology lessons across all key stages

• Inspire students with a love of science and support them in reaching their academic potential

• Contribute to a collaborative and innovative Science department

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications and Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A relevant degree in Biology or a closely related subject

• Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Approachable and encouraging manner with a commitment to student progress
