Booking Controls Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Booking Controls Analyst to join our Control Remediation Workstream. This role is critical in ensuring that trading activity is accurately booked in line with business, desk, and trader mandates, while safeguarding the integrity of legal entities and preventing material booking errors. The successful candidate will work closely with Front Office, Technology, and Control stakeholders to assess, design, and implement robust booking controls.
Key Responsibilities

• Analyse existing booking controls on external trading venues and identify control gaps.
• Partner with Second Line of Defence to ensure oversight and accountability for control gaps and action plans.
• Lead stakeholder communications, including preparing guidance materials and hosting working groups.
• Work with Audit and other control groups to investigate control failures and drive enhancements.
• Support project management activities, including regular reporting to senior management.

Essential Criteria

• Relevant industry experience in Markets in-business management, Front Office control functions, technology (business analysis), or change management.
• Strong working knowledge of front-to-back order management and trade booking flows.
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders.
• Project management experience, with the ability to manage timelines and deliverables effectively.
• Experience with Markets products such as Equities and FX.
• Ability to work with large data sets and distil key insights for senior management.
