Bookkeeper

• Hourly Rate: £14
• Location: Ipswich
• Job Type: Part-time (16 hours per week) / Temporary for 8 weeks

We are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to join our client's team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and has a strong background in bookkeeping. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Monitor financial transactions and reports.
• Process accounts receivable and payable.
• Handle monthly payroll using Sage.

• Proven bookkeeping experience.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
