We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our client’s business on a temp to perm basis. This role is ideal for candidates who are looking for flexibility in their work hours, with options for both part-time and full-time employment. As the sole Accounts person, you will play a crucial role in managing all financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting processes.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Maintain and manage all financial records, including invoices, bank statements, and receipts.
• Handle all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Process payroll and maintain employee financial records.
• Use Sage to maintain records and prepare reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Sage accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and have confidence in your work.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
