BSL Teaching Assistant

Location: Greenwich - Close to Greenwich Station
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Term-time
Salary: £95-£110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Greenwich, just a short walk from Greenwich Station, is seeking a dedicated and qualified BSL Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with hearing impairments in a well-resourced, supportive setting.

• Work one-to-one and in small groups with pupils who use British Sign Language

• Join an experienced and supportive SEN department

• Ongoing CPD and opportunities for career development

• Excellent transport links via Greenwich Station

• BSL Level 2 qualification or higher - essential

• Experience supporting children with hearing impairments in a school or childcare setting

• Calm, patient, and adaptable approach to learning

• Confident communicator in both spoken English and BSL

• DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
