Interim Building Control Surveyor - Class 2

Inital 6 Month Contract
London Based
£75 - £85 per hour

Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client based in London to support the appointment of an experienced Building Control Surveyor (Class 2) to assist with complex applications and site inspections across the borough.

Responsibilities of the Role:
* Assess and determine a range of Building Regulation applications.
* Carry out site inspections to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to applicants, developers, and stakeholders.
* Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate records.
* Ensure effective risk-based inspections and decision-making in line with council and statutory requirements.

To be successful in the role you will have:
* Proven experience in Building Control within a Local Authority setting.
* A Class 2 registration under the Building Safety Regulator (BSR).
* Strong knowledge of current Building Regulations and associated guidance.
* Excellent communication and report writing skills.
