Job Title: Building Surveyor

Location: Redditch

Pay Rate: £26.05

Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking to make a real impact in your community? We're looking for a committed professional to help us keep our housing stock in great shape and deliver a high-quality, customer-focused repairs and maintenance service. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our residents live in safe, well-maintained homes by managing reactive maintenance, conducting detailed property inspections, and overseeing capital works from concept through completion.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll be involved in contract administration, performance monitoring, managing budgets, working with tenants, and helping shape planned maintenance programmes. We're looking for someone with a strong technical background, ideally HNC-qualified or with equivalent experience in building surveying or construction. Your ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and communicate with clarity and confidence will set you apart.

You’ll be part of a supportive team and work closely with contractors, tenants, councillors, and fellow officers to deliver improvements that matter.
