Business Analyst (Contract)

Location: Jersey, Channel Islands (Local candidates only)
Duration: 6 Months
Day Rate: Up to £475

We're working with a Jersey-based organisation embarking on a 6-month strategic project. This could involve either building a bespoke internal solution or adopting a third-party software platform.

We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead the discovery phase of this project, playing a key role in understanding current processes, gathering requirements, and supporting decision-making for the future direction.

• Conduct thorough 'as-is' analysis of the processes and system

• Work closely with key stakeholders to gather 'to-be' business requirements

• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and document analysis to elicit user needs

• Map and define processes, workflows, and functional/non-functional requirements

• Compare build vs. buy options and support in identifying the most suitable solution

• Create clear documentation to support business cases and vendor selection (if required)

• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure alignment across departments

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst.

• Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement

• Ability to work independently and drive early project phases

• Comfortable balancing technical and business considerations to shape recommendations

• Must be based in Jersey or have the right to work and reside locally (no relocation support)
