Are you a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) solutions and a passion for optimising business processes?

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation looking for an EDI specialist to enhance efficiency across their supply chain and finance operations.

The Role:

• In this 6-month fixed-term contract, you will act as a key link between business and technology teams, analysing, implementing, and optimising EDI solutions to improve invoicing, order management, and other critical processes.
• You'll collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in EDI workflows and data exchange.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyse business requirements for EDI implementation and enhancements.
• Work with stakeholders across finance, supply chain, procurement, and IT to ensure seamless EDI integration.
• Assess existing EDI processes, identifying areas for optimisation and automation.
• Support the on boarding and management of trading partners, ensuring smooth data exchange.
• Troubleshoot EDI transaction errors and implement solutions to enhance reliability.
• Document EDI workflows, mappings, and transaction specifications to align with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and retailer-specific requirements).
• Conduct testing and validation of new and modified EDI integrations.
• Provide training and support to internal teams on best practices.
• Stay informed on emerging EDI technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

• Business analysis experience with a strong focus on EDI solutions.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with EDI troubleshooting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working across finance, supply chain, and procurement functions.
• Knowledge of EDI standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies.
